The 2020 Laggys

Hello all! It's been a minute, and by this point I'd say that my minor career as a movie critic has all but ended. That said, a good amount of friends have asked me if I will be continuing the tradition of the Laggys - the Oscars but on a five-year lag. I suppose never underestimate the power of a good idea.

For those unfamiliar, the point of the Laggys is to determine which films of five years ago still stand the test of time. It also gives voters (You! You can be a voter if you can be just follow this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/G3ZPLNN) a chance to watch those movies without being a frustrated media consuming ghoul such as myself.

Now for this year we're going to be doing a slightly truncated version of the Laggys due to the Oscars being literally this weekend. Thus the nominating process was a little scattered and not entirely fair to all. Thus I will be expanding each category to include 6 nominees with the exception of Best Picture which will have the usual 10.
